Rapid in-process monitoring of lentiviral vector production with macro mass photometry

Analytical bottlenecks remain a significant constraint on lentiviral vector (LVV) process development. Current methods are slow, low-throughput, and prone to variability, making routine in-process monitoring difficult.

Refeyn’s Karitro™ macro mass photometer offers an alternative, returning a single-particle multiparametric readout within minutes.

In this application note we show how, using LVV samples from Minaris’s XOFLX® Producer Cell Line, macro mass photometry (macro MP) resolves distinct particle populations, tracking LVV enrichment, purity, and physical titer in near-real-time across downstream processing.

The macro MP dataset was generated in 1.5 hours, compared to 48+ h for functional assays – enabling same-day process decisions.
